Food Assistance Information & Reporting Officer-1

World Vision Ethiopia is seeking a Food Assistance Information & Reporting Officer to lead field-level information and reporting activities for food assistance programs. The role ensures accurate commodity reporting, supports field staff in using LMMS-ITS and Partner Connect systems, and provides technical guidance on food assistance data management.

Key Responsibilities
Lead monthly consolidation of commodity reports in LMMS-ITS and Partner Connect systems.
Provide technical support on food assistance reporting and information management systems.
Verify warehouse inventories and reconcile system balances with physical stock.
Ensure compliance with commodity loss and claims procedures according to donor and organizational requirements.
Conduct training and capacity development for field staff on reporting systems and forms.
Monitor warehouse and distribution documentation and escalate issues as needed.
Serve as the focal point for field information and reporting activities, ensuring timely and accurate periodic reports to the Information and Reporting, and MEAL teams.

Qualifications and Experience
BA/BSc in IT Management, Accounting, Computer Science, Development Studies, or related fields.
3–5 years of experience in food aid, information management, and reporting, preferably in an NGO.
Experience with LMMS-ITS, WFP Partner Connect, or LESS systems is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of emergency food resource management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Demonstrated capacity to lead teams with similar scope.
Experience in high-risk or high-pressure environments preferred.
