Job Summary
The enumerator /data collector will be responsible for conducting surveys with selected study participants according to the approved sampling plan and data collection protocol. The enumerator may also assist with identifying study participants, scheduling /conducting interviews, and supporting logistical coordination where necessary.

The Field Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating field data collection activities to ensure high-quality, accurate, and timely data. The supervisor will guide and monitor Data Collectors, ensure adherence to study protocols, support troubleshooting in the field, and maintain data quality standards throughout the data collection process.
Supervisors will oversee enumerator teams and ensure adherence to the study protocols. Supervisors may also support the implementation of qualitative interviews where required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating enumerator fieldwork activities.
- Monitoring interview quality and ensuring adherence to data collection protocols.
- Conducting spot checks, back-checks, and reviewing submitted survey data for completeness, consistency, and quality.

Key responsibilities
- Plan and conduct partner-level data quality assessments using the approved DQA checklist and guidance.
- Review partner reporting systems and compare reported figures in Fluxx or other reporting channels against partner-held databases.
- Assess whether partner databases exist and determine whether counts are based on unique records.
- Review duplicate risks, identifier systems, completeness of demographic and intervention variables, and alignment of classifications with reporting definitions.
- Assess whether participant consent exists, whether consent covers storage and data sharing, and whether consent records are retrievable, auditable, and compliant with country data protection requirements.
- Review whether adequately consented records include contact details sufficient for later verification.
- Document structural limitations in partner databases that may affect outcome and impact monitoring.
- Conduct interviews with partner M&E and program staff to understand reporting processes, data flow, definitions, controls, and constraints.

- Receive, log, clean, and securely store partner datasets and supporting files in line with project data management protocols.
- Review dataset structure, variable naming, coding, and formatting against the approved DQA tool and reporting requirements.
- Assess the presence and quality of unique identifiers and identify duplicate or potentially duplicate records.
- Run data quality checks on core variables including age/date of birth, sex, location, participation dates, intervention type, delivery pathway, transition pathway, and contact details.
- Calculate completeness rates, duplicate rates, and proportions required by the checklist.
- Conduct internal consistency checks between classifications, dates, identifiers, and related fields.
- Compare partner database counts with reported counts submitted through Fluxx or other reporting channels and flag discrepancies.
- Prepare partner-specific data quality tables, summaries, and technical notes for the DQA team.
- Support the review of consent-related variables and documentation registers where these are available in digital form.
- Maintain version control, reproducible syntax, and clear audit trails for all data processing steps.
