Abay Bank has fulfilled all the necessary requirements of the National Bank of Ethiopia to set up a bank, and officially established on July 14th 2010 and started full-fledged banking operations on November 3, 2010.

Abay Bank SC, established on July 7, 2002 Ethiopian Calendar, is a leading financial institution in Ethiopia. The bank started its official operations on October 25, 2003 Ethiopian Calendar, with a subscribed capital of Birr 174.5 million and a paid-up capital of Birr 125.8 million. The bank’s founding members were 823, and as of June 2024, the number of shareholders has increased to 4,537. The bank’s paid-up capital has also increased to Birr 6,015 billion.
Position 1: Administrative Assistant
Required Qualification and Experience: BA Degree in Management, Business Administration, or related fields with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.

Position 2: Procurement Officer
Required Qualification and Experience: BA Degree in Procurement and Supplies Management, Management, Accounting, or related fields with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.

Position 3: Human Capital Management Officer (Under Performance Management & Succession Planning Division)
Required Qualification and Experience: BA Degree in Human Resource Management, Management, Business Administration, or related fields with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.

Position 4: Branch Manager – Grade I
Required Qualification and Experience: BA Degree in Management, Economics, Accounting & Finance, Marketing, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, or other business-related fields with a minimum of 6 years of work experience in banking operations, out of which 2 years in a supervisory position.
